This Mail Bag is an exact replica of one of the original United States Postal Service leather bags built for and lovingly used by mail carriers to deliver hundreds of pieces of mail each day. Made for, by, and in the U.S., It is a true symbol of American quality and craftsmanship.
The bag itself is entirely handcrafted and handstitched from Horween Dublin full grain vegetable tanned leather. Each bag requires over 25 hours of work. Over time, it will develop a gorgeous patina with increased use. All hardware used on this bag is solid brass. The design features a large flap closure with a brass roller buckle. All of the little details are what makes this bag truly special. If you look closely, you will notice the piping around the seams of the perimeter of the bag. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and it includes a handle for a convenient briefcase-style carrying option. On the inside of the bag, there are two interior pockets for organizing small high-use items like a phone or some pens. The bag is made from 100% leather with no synthetic liners or fabrics, and the edges are all burnished for increased durability.
